    Double injection or 2K process in more detail: 
    Double Injection, also known as 2 material 2 shot moulding or2K molding, is an innovative manufacturing process used to produce complicated moulded parts from two different materials through a highly specialised and automated process.

    This creates a complex surface texture enhancing the appearance of the toilet seat.  Because the 2 materials are bonded in a single moulding operation, its structural integrity is as good as a single material moulding part. 

    A 2K seat enhances the overall appearance as well as user experience
